How do you want to enjoy great places like Egypt, Yosemite, The Grand Canyon, The Great Wall, and others?
With Hotels, Cars, Luxuries, Souvenirs, and general Comfort?
Or would you like to enjoy a place like Egypt on camelback, slowly traversing the desert in scorching heat, heading towards desert towns to trade and buy supplies?
Or would you like to enjoy Yosemite by horseback, slowly traversing the valley, looking for berries and drinking from rivers?
I would honestly like to enjoy a certain atmosphere along with vacations, what about you?
It is a spiritual question, you just have to look at the underlying general basis of the question.
I live in the wilds of Siberia most of the time. Far away from civilization, no roads, no vehicles, no electric, no crazy people touting their religions. We live in small communities, extended families.
Everything belongs to everyone apart from our few personal bits and pieces. Food is shared, so is the work load. Everyone knows their place and roles, the kids fetch fuel and water, the women cure skins, make clothing, knit jumpers, make felt, cook, etc. The men hunt seal, and game, ice fish, take care of the rein deer herds, move the yurts, hump and carry. Generally speaking of course, it is perfectly acceptable for role reversals, homosexuals are honored members of our communities.
We live very long healthy lives, 130 is not uncommon. And all is peaceful. 
When I;m not at home like right now I travel from place to place setting up shamanic based relaxation centers. I’m in Wales UK at the moment, for a few more days at least. What you would call a bus mans holiday. lol
